We do have plans to create an evil interface as well, but that's left for the long future. I'm not even sure if I will be working on the mod then still, because of Uni etc. What do you guys think about the townscreen that Agar posted from Heroes Community?

I'd like to point out that it is only a quick design to help to visualize the concept. Current townscreens are 800x374 pixels and H2 townscreens are 640x256. So the idea is to decrease the size down to around 690x280, which will save us time from having to fill up the empty space. In size it will be bigger that the H2 townscreen by a few pixels, so that we can fit in the additional buildings and the buildings won't be too close together.

Well, the Genie won't have the 'halve enemy stack' ability of course. The Ghost's/Wraith's ability also has to be more balanced for the next beta.

Okay, so I would like to confirm the creature changes which we plan to make for the future. Easiest will be to go by castles:

Knight:

Peasant - I actually plan to make 2 upgrades for him which might be a nice addition to the game (if possible), e.g Peasant, Brute and Conscript.

Crossbowman - We already had many suggestions to change his design slightly. Therefore, I'm probably going to change up the armor, the face and his walking animation.

Sorceress:

Owlbear: All I really want to edit with this creature, is darkening the highlights which make it stand out too much. Yes, the Owlbear is quite big and fat, but we can simply compare to a bear living in the woods. A Unicorn is a magical horse, therefore surely it can be seen as more powerful than an Owlbear. A size doesn't mean anything. However, after so many comments, we might decided to put Druid on lvl4 and the Owlbear on lvl 5. This needs more discussing though.

Wizard:

Hippogriff: Oh boy. I certainly do not like the whole design of the Hippogriff. It was a rushed design made by the previous team, although I like the concept behind it. I already made a design of a Rakshasa, but we are still deciding whether it is going to be in the final game. This would move the Mage to the lvl 4, placing Rakshasa at lvl 6. So the lineup would be quite similar to the H3.

Necromancer:

Ghoul: We had ideas of replacing the Ghoul with the Dark Knight(?), but we decided that it would cause too much confusion in the whole line-up. It looked as powerful as the Crusader, therefore we would have to place him at lvl 6 minimum. But then, that would move the Lich to lvl 5 and the Vampire to lvl 4. The Vampire being at lvl 4, looked really out of place, so we decided to leave the Dark Knight as possibly a neatural creature.

Warlock:

Obsidian Gargoyle: He doesn't even look Obsidian, so his design and color is definitely going to be fixed and edited.

Troglodyte: Replaced by the Beholder and possibly left as a neutral creature.

Barbarian:

Harpy: We are possibly going to fix some of the pixels around and change the face, for now...

Witch:

Gnom: Without a doubt his design is going to be changed. The current design is only a placeholder.

Lizardman: Will be re-animated.

Beholder: Going to be moved to the Warlock castle with some changes and replaced by the Frog of Enroth made by the original H2 team.

Gorgon: We already have a completely new design for the Gorgon with some animations done. It looks a ton better.

Shaman: Will be replaced by a Wyvern.

Serpent: Only colors will be edited slightly, for now...

Gipsy

Most creatures will be changed and the whole castle is going to be changed to a more Egyptian theme. Also, the upgraded version of the Genie is changed and nearly complete.

- Use the Necro theme from PoL for Barbarian instead. It fits really well in my opinion. At first it's a bit quiet, but then it gets aggressive. The TSW and PoL Barbarian theme is too relaxed and quite boring...
