Hi,
I have succesfully introduced hero "action points" for spellcasting. Every hero gets some initiative points at the beginning of each battleround. They can spend it to cast spells (more, than one per round). Unused points will be transferred to next round. Now I would collect some info, how many spell per round would give balance between might and magic heroes, and also would balance spells against each others, by using different action point costs for them. The latest stable release for 3.58f (WoGmod build 10) can be found at http://doom3d.uw.hu There You have only 2 options for number of spells per round, and all spells have the same action point price. The next release will come with 7 options for the amount of spells, and 1 option for spell dependent action point prices. I really need some advices for balancement. There are some other options as well - including a pair of new adventure spells-, so please test it and give some feedback to me. Thanks, Doom3d P.S.
