First of all I want to say that my russian is very very poor,so if there's an answer to my problem in this forum,please excuse me but I can't read it.

I'm having a little problem with my WoG version of Heroes III.I can't use the building where the hero can forget skills for the price of 2000gold.

I look at the CREDITS section in the Main Menu(right click on it) and my WoG version is:

So my question to all of you guys is that:How can I update my script?
I've looked over 30 websites and forums(including this forum) related to the WoG modification,but I didn't find the answer to my problem.
Please Help me if you can.

Oddly... There is message says that wog or erm version is too old. But I have the same versions and I don't get an error message...
Recently I'd installed the last wog update and got an error too. But there was other type message. Try to reinstall wog...

Is there any chance this problem to appears because I translated the game from English
to Russian and then to Bulgarian language?

The funny thing is that I have upgraded my script with this update:358f_update.zip
from the hmm3.fclan.ru

I tried and with re-installation of WoG 3.58f but without any result.The same bug again.

When I use your script in my WoG nothing happens when I come to Market of Time. However, my WoG is far from normal. I used it only for testing scripts for too long.

Возможно, что на карте, на которой играет Lord_BrutalMan есть старый скрипт Рынка Времени. Он-то и конфликтует. Если так, то надо найти его и удалить.

It turns out that I have to only install the Russian txt and font file and then everything is OK.
I really hope that you can fix this problem for the whole Russian translation,so all of you Russian dudes can play with it without any problem.

Знающие умы! Помогите!!!

Такая ситуация, после установки патча "Командиры и Комиссары для редактора карт" от BJ в менюшке с монстрами как известно появляются модельки командиров и Комиссаров. Так вот, почему-то глючит моделька посланника огня (она чуть ниже комиссаров). т.е. посланник становится по форме как комисар, только текстура остаётся родная.
Если поставить посланника на карту, то моделька начинает превращаться то в комиссара то в нормальный вид посланника огня.

Дальше. если загружить карту в игре, где будут стоят все виды посланников, то их модельки такде станут по форме как у комиссаров (только текстуры также будут свои).

Извините что нет картинок этого, поясню только, что как будто в посланника влежает полностью комиссар, от чего сам посланник растягивается до размеров последнего.

В общем, у меня подозрения на ZObjcts.txt и ZEobjcts.txt, хотя я точно не уверен. Если кто знает причину такого глюка, то поделитесь решением подобной проблемы, пожалуйста!!!

Странно. Похожие на описание глюки бывают при совпадении имен файлов внутри 2 дефов, но в патче все имена уникальные. Правда я не смотрел 2-ю версию его патча.

Мой патч - патч к Редактору Карт. С ним идет урезанная версия патча Big Joker'а.

Знаете, Сергей, а ведь действительно, имена в дефах оказались одинаковыми... я воочую в этом убедился.
Токо осталось выяснить, это касяк ещё в 3,58f был допущен, или товарищ BigJoker намудрил?

Can you please tell me where to find the file with the secondary skills names,because I translated the game to Bulgarian language but now when the player activates the Skill Boost option in the WoG options screen the name of the skill in the game displays in English with golden font.Here's an example picture of what I meen:

If you don't activate the Boost Skills options,everything is in Bulgarian.
I edited(Replace the Eagle Eye English letters with Bulgarian(ОРЛОВО ОКО)) the script files script03;script26(I guess) and script 75 but without any result.
The Skills still appear in English.
Please help me if you can!

I don't know which script keeps the changed names. But you can rewrite that by yourself. It isn't difficulty to change skill name by ERM.

You need to translate script03, script48, script58, script64, script35, script23. That's scripts Enchanced Secondary Skill Boost. Scripts 03 and 48 has many Secondary skills; Sorry for my English).

Well I translated the scripts and now the skills appear in Bulgarian,but there's just one little problem.Every time I make random map, I get this error:

Probably you've done an error in the scripts... Didn't you miss "^" or ";"?

I have a problem with the newest version of WoG. I,like che creator of this thread,am bulgarian (Good translation) and my russian is very poor too,so here's my problem: I've played WoG before,ok I played it alot,but when I try to install it over the complete version of H3 it says that the files in the install folder are broken. It's something like this: Filename.wog is broken [ok] ,Filename2.wog is broken [ok] .... and so on. I installed and played WoG before,but what happened now and how can I fix it?

If I understood you rightly, archive with wog installation is broken. Try to download it again.

I don't think so... Why does the error says that all wog-files broken?
I think that it's path or other computer&soft problem. And you can download only exe-file, archive number one, because ALL files can not be broken.

I tried the other install.exe and different versions/downloads,even from other sites-the same error. Can I install WoG when I put all the files in the update folder and then update?

I thinked, that folder "update" appear only after installing wog... I am not right?

yes, but they must be *.wog archives.
you must extract archive while *.wog files will be extracted. then you can put them into /update folder and run update.exe

I see that WoG has many fans in Bulgaria. This is very good.

I must say you, that your countryman is doing an traslation add-on to bulgarian language. Do you know about this?

I read about the translation in this very topic and I am doing a search for this project. By the way the russian install guide is the same as the english one in the official WoG site and I can't get it(WoG) working(still says the files are broken).

A only can get you some easy advices:

1. Reinstall Heroes. It must be SoD, of course.
2. Redownload files.
3. Path of Heroes folder must be wrotten by only english words.

May be you have mistake in process of installation? Try to install WoG with help of that link.
If it will not help you, you can write in this topic and we'll be think again.

I didn't install WoG with the halp of that page,because I didn't get to the real installaton,but I did look in the troubleshooting sections(and the installation ones too). However,I tried to click [OK] on every "file broken" message and the install window popped up! But there was a blank field where must be the field to choose which components to install. I started the installation(I setted up the install path,ANAIN in latin(english)letters),but when the installation process finished there was NO change to my HoMM III folder,no "wog".exe,no wog files,exactly no change at all. It looks like it installed thin air there . Wtf is the problem?

One question: do you have friend, who have the installing WoG?
WoG doesn't work with registry (may be work, but it's not important) and you can write Heroes WoG folder to CD-R/RW disc.

It will be very good for you if you know some people with WoG. If you don't know... We'll talk about your problem again.

I know noone,who plays WoG and that's not really good,yes indeed. But I can try to install it on another PC and than burn it(isn't it illegal?).
