ask for objects problem
I like the objects building , but I can not change it to the def ! Can you tell me what use the file to open the objects ?

I use the Domm1.0 can not press it !

yes ! I want to open def file . But I use the Domm1.0 can not open it!

I don't want DefPreview, but I want the document that can open objects, because there is def in the objects.But I can't use Domm 1.0 to open

But it declared With Doom you import obj very easily
- Copy Domm in Domm subdirectory for instance.
- Put you objects (obj) in the same folders of doom.
- Launch Domm.
- Once you incorporate the obj you can remove them
Now you have you new objects in your heroes 3.
Compatible with SOD, AB and Erathia.
Why use Domm don't go, so use what document to open objects file?

So, it's not about .defs, the problem is with .objs, right?
But the obj files with DEF/MSK/TXT

I don't think so. IMHO obj files are *.obj
No matter how it is, open the object file uses what software

по-моему их вообще никакая прога не открывает

говорит что хочет открыть деф, а потом начинает говорить про документы и объектные файлы

Говорит про ModHomm. У него файлы *.obj с объектами на карте, внутри них лежат .def, .msk, .txt, но ModHomm их не может импортировать в игру. При чем тут .def не ясно.
I think it's because WoG also requires *.msg files (same as *.msk) or because there are 3 files with objects in WoG instead of one Objects.txt file.

Если frie хочет что-то добавить к ВоГу с помощью ModHoMM3 и Domm, то это напрасный труд. Объекты МодХомм3 не совместимы с ВоГ, также как и эти две программы.
Если же он ищет программы для того, чтобы что-то добавить к ВоГ, то объясните ему где, что и для чего искать.

Try to unpack it and install manually. Add line from .txt to ZEOjbts.txt manually (and increase the number in the first line by 1). You'll find ZEOjbts.txt in my patch. Copy .msk to .msg and import .def, .msk and .msg into H3sprite.lod with ResEdit or H3sprite.exe.
Very complex, can you work well to up spread again for us?

Looks like the format is following:
name.def<zipped def>
name.msk<zipped msk>
name.txt<zipped txt>
name.t_1<unzipped def size>
name.t_2<unzipped msk zise>
name.t_3<unzipped txt size>
Zipped here means zipped without a header, so as it's done in LODs. ZLib can zip and unzip such files.
